Online ordering can be received 24 hours x 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Orders received after 3:00 PM EST are 'generally' processed the next business day, however; we make every attempt to ship orders the same day they are received. Orders received during the weekend will be processed the following Monday, except where a holiday falls. We will accept orders from the USA, Canada and select International locations. Sales Tax:

Warranty:

All standard cables and parts carry a limited lifetime guarantee against manufacturer defects. If your cable should fail contact us to obtain a RMA, and we will gladly replace it with an equivalent product. Please prepay the return shipping of any items and we will pay the return shipping for the replacement. This replacement warranty is limited to the value of the cable and is void if the assembly has been subjected to physical damage. All Providence Cable hardware products are warranted against defect. Providence Cable reserves the right to either repair or replace items covered by warranty at our sole discretion.

They come pre-loaded with an adhesive with a very long shelf life, and the termination procedure provides the ability to reheat and reposition the fiber in the termination process. This easy-to-install field mount connector provides reliable performance in indoor and outdoor applications and has no internal splice.

All 3M hot melt connectors can be terminated using the same 3M Hot Melt Termination Kit 6366/6362. 3M LC Connectors also require the 3M LC Hot Melt Expansion Kit 6650-LC which includes a weighted polishing jig to provide a PC centered apex end face.

Built of 16-gauge steel, the Standard Series panels are powder-coated for a long lasting, rust-resistant finish. Adapters with PB (phosphor-bronze) alignment sleeves are suitable for average multimode or singlemode use. For ultra-low loss singlemode applications or frequent mating, adapters with zirconia ceramic alignment sleeves will provide exceptional performance. Optical Converters connect different kinds of connector types ensuring a low connection loss. Because the ferrule ODs are the same, to connect MU Connectors with LC connectors is relatively easy. This type of patchcord is needed due to the single-mode launch nature of the -LX or long-wave (1300 nm) transceiver modules used for Gigabit Ethernet. Launching a single-mode laser into the center of a multimode fiber can cause multiple signals to be generated, due to Differential Mode Delay (DMD) effects, which confuse the receiver at the other end of the fiber and severely limit the cable distance lengths for operating Gigabit Ethernet. A mode conditioning patchcord eliminates these multiple signals by allowing the single-mode launch to be offset away from the center of a multimode fiber.

Multi-fiber assemblies offer users two key benefits depending on connector style. MTP connector trunks offer high-density interconnections in the smallest package available today. Raised floor space in data centers is expensive and often congested. High density pre-terminated trunking solutions offer a practical way to install many fibers in a short time and can be unplugged, recoiled and reused. Compared to discrete jumper cable bundles, these multi-fiber assemblies can be up to 30% smaller in cross-sectional area and weight.

The MTP "Plug and Play" module cassette has been designed to utilize a modular fiber enclosure within a rack mount or wall mount interconnect enclosure. Standard universal modules are compatible with all of our rack mount (RAC) and wall mount (WAC) series enclosures and AT&T compatible enclosures. Each cassette has an MTP adapter on the back of the cassette with your choice of adapters on the front of the module, such as: ST, SC, MT-RJ and LC. By using a ribbon fiber and fan-out assembly, the pre-terminated fiber is fully protected while offering the user more density with less field termination or splicing labor.

Module pre-assemblies are custom cable assemblies built specifically for final assembly into the modular enclosure. The pre-assemblies are normally available with the cassette module. They are also available separately. The MTP multi-fiber high-density interconnects are standard pre-assemblies designed for standard cassette modules. Single-mode and multimode (62.5, 50 and OM3 10gig) are standard glasses used. For a 'total solution' custom products are also available upon request.
